Owner

Laurie Jubelirer is the owner of Jubelirer Law, LLC, a law practice based in Montgomery Country, Pennsylvania devoted to advocating for adults and juveniles facing criminal charges and civil rights violations. Prior to opening Jubelirer Law in 2013, Laurie served as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and as a Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. Laurie relies on her skills and decades of experience in the criminal justice system to provide compassionate and tireless legal representation to clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Laurie defends adults and juveniles facing DUI, misdemeanor, and felony charges. She also represents clients in police misconduct cases and other constitutional rights violations. Laurie has a proven track record of dismissing charges and reducing sentences for criminal defendants, winning criminal appeals, and securing settlements in civil rights cases. Notably, Laurie has successfully challenged local schools who were in violation of students’ due process rights at expulsion hearings and has prevented a juvenile client from being transferred to a disciplinary school after wrongfully being accused of criminal activity.

Outside of her firm, Laurie is a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform, sharing her perspective and experience through writing and speaking engagements on various issues including the opioid epidemic, police brutality, prisoner rights, recidivism, and mass incarceration. She also devotes considerable time to the community, including serving on the Board of Directors for Women Owned Law, a group created to connect and advance women legal entrepreneurs, and Congregation Kol Ami, her local synagogue. In addition, Laurie serves on committees for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Montgomery Bar Association.
